3 Tips for staying Comfy AND Classy

While the holiday season might very well be the happiest time of the year, for many, it’s also the busiest. Between holiday shopping, decorating, entertaining and traveling, there’s not a lot of time left to change outfits.

We asked our stylists for their best tips on creating low-maintenance, super-comfortable outfits that easily transition from one setting to another. Here’s what they had to say:

1. Add a Touch of Polish

Sometimes simple sophistication is the best way to show your style. By adding little accents to a basic outfit – like wearing a collared button-down shirt under a sweatshirt, a thin leather belt with a partially tucked in shirt, or a couple strategic pieces of jewelry – you’re able to give the impression of a well put-together look without spending much time or energy.

2. Make a statement

For a comfy outfit with tons of personality, start with your favorite pair of jeans and a neutral, basic shirt. From there, add a jacket with a fun pattern, a colorful scarf, or another statement pieces that makes your outfit pop!

3. Bundle Up!

It’s cold outside, but that can work to your advantage when you’re looking for a comfortably stylish outfit. This season blanket scarves, wraps, capes and ponchos are very in-style. By pairing basic pieces with these warm-and-cozy coverups, you’ll be in-style, warm and very cozy.
